Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support Client Directors with technical presentations, solution design, and account strategy.
- Own technical aspects of sales campaigns from qualification through handoff to consulting and services teams.
- Design, architect, size, configure, and compare solution approaches for clients.
- Present technical briefings, lab demonstrations, events, user groups, conferences, and forums.
- Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, decision processes, and funding.
- Qualify and position consulting engagements and services and drive conversions to additional solutions.
- Lead solution verification and bill-of-materials review processes for the assigned geography.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team resources and collaborate with practice directors, specialists, partners, and service teams.
- Identify technologies and vendor partnerships, provide feedback on internal efficiencies, and contribute to new solution offerings.
- Track client engagement details and work effort to support key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of pre-sales and data center experience.
- Experience serving as a technical lead in pre-sales sales campaigns.
- Extensive knowledge of one or more of storage, networking, compute, virtualization, data center management or automation, and security.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer-focused skills.
- Ability to work independently under critical conditions and influence others to achieve results.
- Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert and build credibility with clients and partners.
