Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, document, and deploy GDS scripts.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional Statements of Work.
- Respond to client inquiries and develop creative solutions.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing automation features and processes.
- Develop and maintain a workflow process map for scripting.
- Participate in code reviews for adherence to standards.
- Monitor processes for performance and respond to errors.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to leadership.
- Provide first-level support for travel technology systems.
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Worldspan and Travelport Plus.
- Optional programming skills for integration with multiple GDS systems.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Travel knowledge is required.
- Ability to travel for projects or team meetings.
