Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines for diverse applications and services.
- Manage releases across multiple AWS regions and environments.
- Build and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, observability, and reliability practices.
- Drive DevOps strategy, tooling adoption, continuous improvement, and best practices across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams.
- Lead technical design and implementation of DevOps solutions and initiatives.
- Mentor and coach infrastructure engineers and support the growth of other engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience designing and managing CI/CD solutions, including at least one year with GitHub Actions.
- At least five years of experience with AWS cloud technologies including ECS and Lambda, infrastructure-as-code tools especially Terraform, and MySQL.
- At least five years of scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- At least three years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS.
- Experience with end-to-end testing and security and compliance best practices.
- Experience leading DevOps initiatives and at least two years leading technical design and implementation of DevOps solutions.
- Familiarity with SRE implementation and best practices and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers.
- Exposure to large, complex software solutions is preferred.
