Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across teams by setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance improvement.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with Java or Python and 3+ years with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred: 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Azure, cloud productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: experience with open-source frameworks, frontend JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, using AI coding tools and IDE copilots, applying observability to distributed systems, and using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
- Preferred: experience mentoring engineers, leading cross-functional engineering efforts, establishing coding standards, and enforcing design patterns.
