Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large enterprise healthcare implementations.
- Translate client business use cases and technical requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation guidance.
- Own the Health Cloud technical strategy, including Salesforce architecture, integrations, data models, automation, scalability, security, compliance, and performance.
- Define and govern integration architecture using Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.
- Review and approve high-level and low-level designs, conduct code and architecture reviews, and manage technical risks and technical debt.
- Lead and mentor distributed Salesforce teams including developers, administrators, QA, and offshore delivery teams.
- Advise stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership on Salesforce capabilities, trade-offs, best practices, and platform evolution.
- Support delivery lifecycle activities including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, post-go-live support, release planning, and troubleshooting.
- Create process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, design documents, documentation, training materials, user guides, and release notes.
- Lead proofs of concept, process improvement initiatives, platform enhancements, and adoption of new Salesforce Health Cloud features.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release management.
Requirements
- 7.5+ years of total experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud features including Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, and Utilization Management.
- Hands-on leadership experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience defining integration architecture with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, FHIR, and HL7.
- Strong understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.
- Experience with Salesforce security models, data access, sharing rules, consent management, governor-limit optimization, performance tuning, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Experience leading and mentoring multi-shore Salesforce teams and collaborating with program managers and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile environments, sprint planning, release management, roadmap planning, and long-term platform evolution.
- Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, stakeholder management, architectural governance, and complex troubleshooting skills.
- Experience addressing healthcare regulations and compliance requirements including HIPAA and PHI.
