Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, flexible, and resilient software designs and integrations in a cloud environment.
- Automate manual analytical processes supporting national security intelligence missions.
- Build frontend interfaces, backend microservices, web services, cloud architectures, databases, and persistent data stores.
- Deploy IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities.
- Design and develop specialized applications and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
- Coordinate and document deployment procedures and release plans.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and launch new features.
- Support off-hours deployments, including evenings or weekends.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Understand cloud architecture and enabling technologies, including AWS Cloud and Amazon Web Services managed services.
- Have experience with JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, JSON, SQL, and XML.
- Have high experience with backend programming languages including Java/Spring and Python.
- Have working knowledge of MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, S3, Redshift, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Be familiar with jQuery, ASP/.NET, NoSQL, PL/SQL, LDAP, HTTP, REST/SOAP, and RDBMS technologies.
- Be familiar with configuration management and CI tools including Git/GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Ansible, and Chef.
- Be familiar with Linux/Unix server environments and Agile development methodology.
- Have working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
- Preferred qualifications include Docker, Kubernetes, JMS/SQS/SNS, Kafka, AWS Lambda, NiFi, public keys, digital certificates, automated testing tools, DevOps environments, and data integration and visualization tools.
- Preferred experience includes Mocha/Chai, JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, Python, Groovy, and Shell Script.
- Have specialization in object-oriented programming languages, scripting, and databases.
