Base Salary

$134k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the team and broader domain.
  • Influence architectural approaches and technical-debt prioritization for team-owned components.
  • Drive software quality through test-driven development, continuous delivery, and pair programming.
  • Maintain production software and triage and resolve issues.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on technology features and engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and key stakeholders.
  • Help mature AI-supported software engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable software applications.
  • Expert programming knowledge.
  • Knowledge of distributed-system design and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex problems and practices.
  • Preferred backend development experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
