Base Salary
$134k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for the team and broader domain.
- Influence architectural approaches and technical-debt prioritization for team-owned components.
- Drive software quality through test-driven development, continuous delivery, and pair programming.
- Maintain production software and triage and resolve issues.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on technology features and engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and key stakeholders.
- Help mature AI-supported software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable software applications.
- Expert programming knowledge.
- Knowledge of distributed-system design and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex problems and practices.
- Preferred backend development experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
