Responsibilities
- Contribute across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of web-based applications.
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical and system requirements and clarify ambiguity or technical gaps.
- Independently develop assigned modules and features while owning delivery quality and timelines.
- Design and develop database solutions, maintain database objects, and support performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot application issues, address performance bottlenecks, and resolve operational issues within assigned scope.
- Participate in code reviews, quality assurance practices, configuration management, Agile ceremonies, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and partner teams to align goals and deliver business outcomes.
- Create basic project plans for small projects and development initiatives.
- Use AI tools and agentic coding assistants to support development, testing, and problem-solving.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js, microservices, event-driven architecture, modern UI frameworks, cloud platforms, databases, containers, CI/CD tools, observability tools, and source-code management.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-processing services, React.js or Angular, AWS services, Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL, DynamoDB or DocumentDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Python and data analytics tools such as Databricks is preferred.
- AWS or Azure Developer certification is preferred.
- Ability to understand business and stakeholder needs, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and recommend practical improvements.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Pi and agentic coding assistants.
