Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across React/TypeScript frontend and PHP backend codebases.
- Design GraphQL schemas and resolvers and integrate Apollo Client and Apollo Server.
- Build and maintain shared UI components within the Turborepo/pnpm monorepo.
- Design, build, and maintain Java/Kotlin backend microservices in collaboration with the tech lead.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Playwright, Cypress, Vitest, or Jest.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment workflows across the stack.
- Collaborate with the team on architectural patterns, service boundaries, API contracts, coding standards, and CI/CD practices.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript, including component design and state management patterns.
- Experience with GraphQL and/or REST API integration, including schemas, queries, mutations, and Apollo.
- Working knowledge of PHP or the ability to quickly learn an existing PHP codebase.
- Hands-on Kotlin experience or a strong JVM background such as Java/Spring, with willingness to work in Kotlin.
- Familiarity with Turborepo, Nx, or similar monorepo tooling and package managers such as pnpm.
- Understanding of relational databases including PostgreSQL or Oracle and efficient query writing.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Preferred experience with microservices, API gateways, service-to-service authentication, event-driven communication, Docker, Kubernetes, regulated enterprise environments, and Spring Boot.
