Base Salary

$170k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build systems for dynamic pricing, marketplace matching, and auction workflows.
  • Develop full-stack applications using React and Vue and backend services using Java.
  • Implement and optimize pricing logic, bidding mechanisms, and supply-demand balancing.
  • Build scalable, reliable, and performant marketplace systems using AWS-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership, product managers, data teams, business teams, and other cross-functional partners to improve marketplace efficiency and pricing strategies.
  • Use modern and AI-assisted development practices where appropriate.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a full-stack or backend-leaning software engineer.
  • Experience with marketplace, pricing, auction, or matching systems.
  • Strong backend skills with JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted tools or data-driven systems.
  • Ability to translate complex marketplace dynamics such as pricing, liquidity, and supply-demand balancing into scalable technical solutions.
