Responsibilities
- Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD.
- Exemplify Thoughtworks’ technical excellence and thought leadership.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor by building key relationships with clients.
- Propose and lead systemic change in organizations based on improvement opportunities.
- Assess client needs and develop proactive proposals to deliver value.
- Communicate the value of delivery in relation to client vision and goals.
- Ensure high performance of Thoughtworks teams and manage client risks.
- Encourage feedback and foster an inclusive team culture.
- Ensure security, privacy, and legal compliance across accounts.
Requirements
- Track record of managing the scope and shape of programs of work.
- Experience with account management, client management, and pre-sales.
- Comfortable chairing meetings and providing technical sales support.
- Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD and continuous integration.
- Natural ability to establish relationships with senior leaders.
- Excellent context-switching capabilities.
- Ability to lead and deliver commitments on time and within budget.
- Resilient in ambiguous situations and skilled in risk management.
- Empathetic with strong relationship-building skills.
