Responsibilities
- Act as the primary bridge between internal stakeholders and Okta’s core Product teams.
- Serve as a foundational pillar and mentor for the IAM engineering team.
- Identify systemic inefficiencies and champion agile execution.
- Lead the organization toward identifying and implementing necessary initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance identity security.
- Act as both architect and technical implementer for strategic initiatives.
- Deliver clear, data-driven leadership updates to Okta’s executive team.
- Establish and report on key performance metrics for the IAM ecosystem.
- Facilitate design strategy and execution of playbook adoption.
- Drive the secure adoption of AI technologies within the enterprise.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise IAM solutions.
- Expertise in IAM concepts and best practices, including SSO, MFA, IGA, and PAM.
- Deep expertise in modern authentication protocols like OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML 2.0.
- Comprehensive understanding of secure session lifetimes and token management.
- Proven experience in machine-to-machine communication and cloud-native authentication.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise secrets management architectures.
- Advanced proficiency with IaC tools like Okta Workflows and Terraform.
- Strong background in integrating IAM into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience leading and developing other engineers.
- Leads with an automation-first mindset.
