Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software code meets design constraints.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene, architecture, resiliency, and operational stability.
- Contribute to peer guidance and reusable practices for safe and effective AI-assisted engineering.
Requirements
- Formal software engineering training or certification and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, production support, debugging, and operational stability.
- Strong proficiency with Python and Terraform, plus experience with modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle, source control, delivery tooling, and agile engineering practices.
- Excellent knowledge of Snowflake and AWS.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred knowledge of Java, AWS ECS solutioning, and additional AWS cloud technologies.
