Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve control plane services in Go for file and block storage.
- Contribute to the file system data path, focusing on NFS reliability and IO performance.
- Deliver file and block storage features as first-class Kubernetes citizens.
- Enhance the reliability and observability of the storage stack with telemetry and metrics.
- Debug production issues in distributed, high-performance systems.
- Collaborate with compute, platform, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in building storage systems or distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with distributed or networked file systems and block storage.
- Depth in storage data path performance, caching, and resilience under load.
- Proficiency in Go, with Rust or C++ as a plus.
- Experience building on Kubernetes, including controllers and CSI.
