Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, debug, and test firmware features for IoT devices.
- Support and maintain over 1.5 million devices in the field.
- Design and implement observability practices for firmware rollouts.
- Collaborate with product managers and customer support teams.
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles in a global scaling environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience with large scale observability for production systems.
- Proficient in developing and shipping production code.
- Experience in building and monitoring metrics during firmware rollout.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar.
