Responsibilities
- Design and build connector layers between AI agent front ends and enterprise systems.
- Develop MCP servers and Microsoft Graph or Copilot connectors when required.
- Design and implement APIs supporting the connector layer.
- Configure Azure API Management products, policies, throttling, and authentication.
- Integrate data sources and systems of record behind the connector layer.
- Implement Entra ID authentication and authorization, including on-behalf-of flows.
- Build and support multi-step workflows with state management and error handling.
- Collaborate with architecture teams on technical design decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in integration or backend engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET; Python experience is a plus.
- Strong experience designing and implementing REST APIs and authentication patterns.
- Hands-on Azure API Management configuration and policy-authoring experience.
- Experience implementing Entra ID, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Experience integrating systems of record or line-of-business platforms.
- Experience with Azure Container Apps and Azure Functions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and English-language skills.
- Preferred qualifications include MCP server development, Microsoft Graph or Copilot connector development, AI-agent tool interface design, event-driven integration, regulated-industry integrations, and agent-oriented API design.
