Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain BASE24-eps applications and new Mastercard and other card-scheme interfaces.
- Build interfaces for authorization, switching, routing, and settlement.
- Implement Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, Discover, and other card-scheme mandates and compliance changes.
- Integrate, test, and support payment interfaces involving ISO 8583, host interfaces, third-party processors, gateways, and fraud systems.
- Analyze scheme bulletins and translate requirements into technical changes within BASE24-eps modules.
- Troubleshoot authorization issues, transaction declines, routing faults, and system-level processing errors.
- Support certification testing, mandate validation, regression cycles, and cutover activities.
- Coordinate with QA, infrastructure, production support, and client stakeholders.
- Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and deployment procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with BASE24-eps, including AFT, OLF, ONL, TLF, device handlers, and related components.
- Strong experience implementing card-scheme mandates, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, and Discover.
- Understanding of ISO 8583, proprietary scheme formats, host interface specifications, and APIs.
- Proficiency in C++, Mainframe, Linux, MQ, or XPNET.
- Experience with real-time transaction systems and high-throughput payment platforms.
- Knowledge of authorization flows, EMV processing, issuer and acquirer concepts, interchange processing, and settlement.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for tracing complex transaction paths.
- Ability to work independently in distributed and remote teams and communicate with scheme partners and client stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with mandate certification, scheme migrations, large-scale mandate rollouts, POS, ATM, eCommerce, or tokenization transaction flows.
