Responsibilities

Define end-to-end target architectures with prospective insurance customers and guide them from technical analysis through signed solution agreements.
Present architectural concepts and technical roadmaps to CTO, CIO, CDO, and other C-level stakeholders.
Drive technical transformation by standardizing architectural practices and introducing modern cloud and SaaS patterns.
Mentor Solution Architects and Customer Delivery Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Document architectural decisions, requirements, and technical concepts for long-term knowledge sharing.
Maintain clear technical communication and alignment among internal and external stakeholders.

8–10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, including several years in the insurance industry or insurance-focused consulting.
Business-level German fluency at C2 or native level and English fluency at C1 or higher, written and spoken.
Deep understanding of cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP; SaaS delivery models; and modern integration patterns.
Experience with APIs, BPMN, SaaS platforms, AWS technologies, requirements engineering, and the insurance domain is advantageous.
Ability to participate in German- and English-speaking C-level discussions and influence technical and business decision-makers.
Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills and a hands-on approach to technical details.
Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, and cloud or architecture certifications is beneficial.
Experience in dynamic environments and familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
Consulting experience is a significant advantage.
French language skills are a plus.
Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% within Germany and Switzerland.
