Responsibilities
- Lead solutions architecture discussions with customer technical teams and align business and technical requirements with company solutions.
- Assess technical feasibility, identify integration risks, and recommend secure and scalable solutions.
- Review complex implementation problems and provide technical direction and oversight.
- Design and build integrations, adapters, and extensions in Python for proof-of-concept work and customer implementation support.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success on complex technical deals and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical advice to executives, customers, and internal teams.
- Feed field-observed patterns and product gaps to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
- Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar on the team.
- Provide on-call and emergency support and work flexible hours when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of related experience, or an advanced degree and at least 12 years of experience, or equivalent related work experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with C# and Go is preferred.
- Deep understanding of API design, cloud architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC, service-oriented architecture, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience designing and building integrations across enterprise applications and third-party services.
- Experience designing for scalability and security in large, complex environments.
- Proven ability to advise executives and technical teams and translate complex requirements into clear solutions.
- Proven experience contributing in Agile environments.
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
