Responsibilities
- Develop, test, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and relational databases.
- Support master data governance processes, workflows, approval mechanisms, and alignment with business, policy, and compliance requirements.
- Develop user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code according to coding standards.
- Develop unit tests and support integration testing and software quality activities.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, business stakeholders, QA engineers, and functional experts to deliver project objectives.
- Support application enhancements, maintenance activities, and production issue resolution.
- Continuously learn new technologies, development tools, and enterprise software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Java application development experience or equivalent internship/project experience.
- Understanding of enterprise master data structures and workflows, including material and product data.
- Basic programming skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful web services.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and willingness to learn React or Angular.
- Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Good analytical, debugging, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Preferred: exposure to enterprise master data processes and understanding of GTC, supply chain, production quality, and finance modules.
- Preferred: understanding of Hibernate/JPA, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Preferred: basic knowledge of secure coding practices and software quality principles.
