Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to ship support features for internal agents globally.
- Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- Write well-tested code and maintain high engineering quality standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and scaling complex systems.
- Production experience with Golang and an interest in strong engineering practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra.
- Understanding of designing and operating low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Previous on-call experience and a pragmatic approach to reliability and incident management.
- Nice to have: Node.js or other backend language experience.
- Nice to have: familiarity with AWS, GCP, and event-driven architectures.
