Responsibilities
- Develop greenfield backend systems and improve existing systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices.
- Evolve systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems.
- Use Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL to deliver maintainable financial products.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly with an ambitious and results-driven approach.
