Responsibilities
- Build modern full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput APIs and distributed services.
- Develop event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, messaging integrations, and scalable microservices.
- Work on e-commerce capabilities involving catalogs, inventory, pricing, carts, checkout, orders, payments, customers, and fulfillment.
- Contribute to AI-driven initiatives involving AI agents, tool calling, LLM integrations, agent orchestration, and Model Context Protocol.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools and workflows, spec-driven development, and contract-first approaches.
- Own projects, solve problems, debug systems, and maintain software quality, testing, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, distributed services, low-latency systems, and high-throughput APIs.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, messaging or event-streaming technologies, and scalable distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of API performance, caching, concurrency, resiliency, scalability, testing, code quality, and CI/CD.
- Professional experience with e-commerce systems or platforms and familiarity with core e-commerce domains.
- Experience using modern AI-assisted development tools and understanding of AI agents, tool calling, LLM integrations, agent orchestration, and Model Context Protocol.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, independent-working, ownership, and process-ownership skills.
- GraphQL, Kafka at scale, and Kubernetes experience are preferred.
