Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance automation solutions for a large-scale Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform.
  • Build Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions using Ansible and Python.
  • Apply Git and CI/CD practices to infrastructure automation development.
  • Improve platform reliability, efficiency, and scalability through monitoring, automation, and continuous optimization.
  • Contribute to VMware-based infrastructure services and automate repetitive operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering colleagues and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience maintaining and developing Ansible roles and collections.
  • Strong Python skills and experience developing automation solutions.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation.
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Director, RHEL, Windows, and DNS services.
  • Experience with vRealize Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with curiosity, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is an advantage.
