Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance automation solutions for a large-scale Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform.
- Build Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions using Ansible and Python.
- Apply Git and CI/CD practices to infrastructure automation development.
- Improve platform reliability, efficiency, and scalability through monitoring, automation, and continuous optimization.
- Contribute to VMware-based infrastructure services and automate repetitive operational workflows.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering colleagues and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience maintaining and developing Ansible roles and collections.
- Strong Python skills and experience developing automation solutions.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Director, RHEL, Windows, and DNS services.
- Experience with vRealize Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with curiosity, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
- Fluency in English is required; German proficiency is an advantage.
