Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end agentic AI architectures and publish reusable multi-agent workflow patterns.
- Standardize LLM providers, embedding models, vector databases, retrieval strategies, prompt templates, evaluators, and observability stacks.
- Lead business discovery, solution scoping, proofs of concept, pilots, and production scale-out.
- Own non-functional requirements covering security, privacy, compliance, performance, reliability, and AI workload cost efficiency.
- Design data contracts, chunking, indexing, hybrid search, citations, grounding, freshness pipelines, and hallucination guardrails.
- Define integration strategies for enterprise systems, event streams, APIs, gateways, CI/CD, SDLC, and release governance.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, end-to-end telemetry, failure-mode mitigation, and safety policies.
- Guide developer squads, create internal playbooks and training tracks, define coding standards, and support AI-native hiring.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions and communicate clearly with business and engineering stakeholders.
- Primary proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java.
- Experience designing multi-agent systems, production-grade RAG, retrieval evaluation, reranking, freshness pipelines, or hybrid search is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLMOps/ModelOps, prompt versioning, evaluation harnesses, feature flags, canarying, A/B testing, safety gateways, cloud-native architecture, secrets management, policy as code, and AI cost governance is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise API gateways, event buses, messaging, and contract testing is preferred.
