Responsibilities
- Build Java Spring Boot microservices and integrate with databases and message brokers.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Engage in test-driven development and utilize automated test frameworks.
- Engineer scalable and high-performance applications for on-prem and public cloud.
- Draft API designs and build REST APIs with a strong understanding of messaging protocols.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Java and Microservices.
- Strong knowledge of Java (preferably Java 17 or later) and Spring Boot.
- Experience with SQL fundamentals and data persistence frameworks like JPA and Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is desirable.
