Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable platform services, APIs, integrations, and user experiences for strategic customer needs.
  • Translate customer-specific requirements into generalized product capabilities, shared services, reference implementations, and reusable engineering patterns.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Specialists, Solution Architects, Engineering leaders, Customer Engineering, and Design Partner customers to validate approaches and influence roadmaps.
  • Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering practices focused on quality, architecture, testing, observability, security, performance, scale, and maintainability.
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering practices and tools to improve development velocity, testing, troubleshooting, code quality, and productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership across teams by guiding architecture decisions, resolving ambiguity, and balancing customer urgency with platform quality and long-term scalability.
  • Mentor engineers and help raise the technical bar through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS applications, distributed systems, or cloud-native platforms.
  • Strong experience designing and developing scalable APIs, microservices, integrations, event-driven systems, and backend services.
  • Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring, TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience contributing to architecture decisions, system design, technical tradeoffs, and implementation patterns for complex enterprise products.
  • Proven ability to build reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable production systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices, Agile delivery, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, improving engineering practices, and influencing technical direction across teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Architecture, UX, Customer Engineering, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, quality, testing, and troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Privacy, Consent, Risk, Governance, Compliance, Security, Data Management, or AI Governance domains is preferred.
