Base Salary
$159k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives with broad, potentially companywide impact.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and document business solutions using modern software engineering tools and automation.
- Advise on and build cloud solutions with appropriate availability, scalability, performance, security, and cost considerations.
- Review complex technology solutions and align them with strategic technical and business objectives.
- Develop engineering standards and best practices for complex, large-scale technology solutions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, operations, security, senior technology, business, and external industry stakeholders.
- Provide technical influence, thought leadership, mentorship, and support for colleagues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years leveraging modern software engineering stacks, including modern Java and Python.
- At least 3 years developing and deploying applications and infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud.
- At least 1 year of experience with AI software development lifecycle and software engineering automation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Cursor, or Claude Code.
- At least 3 years of experience with architectural, system, and code-level design patterns relevant to cloud solutions.
- Experience with cloud security management or governance tools is preferred.
- Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders and communicate technical solutions to technical and business audiences.
- Strategic perspective, delivery focus, and willingness to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
