Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate RAG and agentic systems over complex financial data with measurable accuracy, latency, and cost metrics.
- Develop scalable backend services for PDF, OCR, and CSV document processing, asynchronous job queues, case lifecycle orchestration, and risk scoring.
- Productionize AI systems with evaluation pipelines, dataset and version management, A/B testing, guardrails, and fallback behavior.
- Harden the enterprise platform with authentication controls, role-based access, audit trails, backups, monitoring, and measurable SLOs.
- Establish CI/CD, deployment pipelines, runbooks, and incident-response practices.
- Engage in AI research related to agentic reasoning over regulatory and financial data.
- Define architecture, technical roadmaps, and product direction with the founding team.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience on technical projects, with startup experience strongly preferred.
- Strong TypeScript and Python skills across modern frontend and backend stacks.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM integrations or RAG systems into production user-facing products.
- Experience with document processing, entity extraction, and structured data extraction from messy real-world sources.
- Solid understanding of API design, relational databases, and asynchronous job-processing systems.
- Proven ability to take products from local prototypes to reliable production systems at growing scale.
- Ability to debug across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data boundaries.
- Knowledge of KYC, KYB, AML workflows, sanctions screening, beneficial ownership data, or regulated fintech is preferred.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with banking APIs, core banking systems, financial data providers, OCR, document intelligence pipelines, cloud deployment, and DevOps is preferred.
- Background in fintech, compliance, RegTech, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong product intuition and user-experience focus are preferred.
