Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive software test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and collaborate with developers on resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Lead complex assignments, guide team members, and contribute to testing-process and technology improvements.
- Set objectives, coach employees, and support performance appraisal where the role has people leadership responsibilities.
- Identify and mitigate risks while strengthening controls, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
- Professional knowledge and skills sufficient to lead complex software testing and automation assignments.
- Ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams on requirements, design, acceptance criteria, and defect resolution.
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
- Ability to advise stakeholders, guide team members, and contribute to policy, governance, and operational effectiveness.
- Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information and influence stakeholders.
