Base Salary

Responsibilities

Enable development of system architectures, software systems, and software applications.
Develop new software from algorithm definitions and prototypes.
Work with program teams to plan future operations.
Support sensor system design and fielding, special communications, and command-and-control systems.
Compile complex technical products with multidisciplinary teams to inform leadership about project risks and chances for success.
Brief customer, program, senior government, and mission-partner leadership on modeling efforts, results, conclusions, and recommendations.
Develop and deploy software in front-end, back-end, or full-stack roles.
Work independently and collaboratively while improving development practices and generating supporting documentation.

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must hold an active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technology field, with four additional years of experience substitutable for the degree.
At least six years of relevant experience in software development, technology, engineering, and/or science.
Ability to communicate highly technical analyses to nontechnical audiences and senior-level government representatives.
Strong programming skills in C++, Go, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
Preferred experience includes digital signal processing, image processing, MATLAB, AWS, REST services, Kubernetes, Docker, and DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
Preferred experience includes customer-site work, RMF processes, accreditation lifecycles, and software deployment in DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
Ability to work independently, develop problem-solving approaches, lead or collaborate effectively, and communicate well.

The Washington, DC metropolitan area base-pay range is $116,000.00-$154,000.00-$169,400.00 annually; other locations may have different market-driven ranges.
