Responsibilities
- Support application build, integration, and deployment activities for backend systems and mobile and PC client devices.
- Manage, configure, and maintain system environments.
- Support project teams during system testing and ensure technical environment readiness.
- Monitor and analyze system functionality, performance, availability, and overall health.
- Identify, report, coordinate, and follow up on technical issues affecting application and system environments.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between Frontex ICT and external vendors or contractors.
- Support deployment and configuration of development environments in Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to improvements in deployment processes, environment management, and operational support.
Requirements
- Minimum eight years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent understanding of software deployment processes and management, with strong expertise in application build and deployment activities.
- Good understanding of software release management practices.
- Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with application server technologies and software development tools and environments.
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as Ant and Azure Pipelines.
- Understanding of relational database management systems.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint and related tools.
- Ability to work across varied technologies and platforms in an international and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience with European institutions, international organizations, or the public sector is a strong asset.
- Willingness to work as a freelancer under a B2B contract model.
