Responsibilities
- Build and maintain developer tooling including AI agents, generators, libraries, templates, CLIs, and services.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and reliable software delivery.
- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using repeatable and maintainable Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
- Implement and operate shared builder services supporting platform developer and DevOps experiences.
- Enable AI-assisted development, including MCP-style capabilities and internalized development tools.
- Partner with application engineers to identify friction points and deliver adopted platform solutions.
- Write production-quality TypeScript/JavaScript or Python code and automation.
- Support application teams with infrastructure, environments, deployment workflows, and operational readiness.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, and developer experience through automation and sensible defaults.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
- Hands-on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including testing, code review, version control, and system design.
- Ability to work across application and platform boundaries to solve developer productivity and delivery problems.
- Proficiency in English for global collaboration.
- Preferred: familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms, cloud-based containers, internal services and tooling, and frameworks.
