Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers and align success criteria, KPIs, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Guide the deployment of Neo4j AuraDB environments and self-managed clusters across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Design secure network architectures using private endpoints, IP allow lists, routing, peering, and cloud networking services.
- Implement system hardening, TLS/SSL termination, encryption at rest, enterprise SSO, IAM, and RBAC configurations.
- Architect data ingestion pipelines using bulk imports, stream processing, and Change Data Capture, while advising on Neo4j driver optimization, connection pooling, and retry logic.
- Help customers configure observability tools and deliver workshops on Cypher performance, backup and restore planning, and platform best practices.
- Create architecture diagrams, Architectural Decision Records, and next-step backlogs for transition to Professional Services and Cloud Operations.
- Use customer insights to improve Neo4j’s technical onboarding methodology and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a highly technical, customer-facing role such as onboarding engineering, customer success engineering, DevOps/platform engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on production experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deep knowledge of networking infrastructure, including VPC/VNet architectures, routing, peering, and PrivateLink or private endpoints.
- Experience implementing enterprise IAM, including SSO with OIDC or SAML and RBAC design.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Experience with Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, or managed container environments.
- Experience with graph databases, ideally Neo4j, including database querying and Cypher performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, ETL/CDC platforms, cloud compliance frameworks, and data residency patterns.
