Responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate on AI agents and applications for internal Customer Success workflows and customer-facing onboarding, self-service support, and proactive engagement.
- Scope and prioritize requests by identifying the highest-leverage opportunities.
- Use customer feedback and real-world interaction patterns to improve internal tools and customer experiences.
- Define success metrics, track adoption and outcomes, and validate business impact with data.
- Evaluate cost-to-serve, efficiency tradeoffs, ROI, LLMs, orchestration frameworks, and third-party tools when making technical decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ship quickly while maintaining reliability and quality.
- Partner with DevOps and Security to deploy reliable AI applications that meet security, compliance, and infrastructure standards.
- Collaborate with Customer Success leadership and frontline teams to translate pain points into solutions.
- Drive adoption through demos and training, and establish best practices, playbooks, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with Python preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar.
- Practical knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and evaluating AI tools and models for cost, latency, accuracy, and maintainability.
- Strong familiarity with APIs, webhooks, integration patterns, messy real-world data, and reliable data pipelines.
- Experience with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
- Salesforce experience with Apex, Flow, or Salesforce APIs is a strong bonus.
- Ability to prioritize high-leverage opportunities, define success metrics, reason about ROI and cost-to-serve, and own outcomes.
- Self-directed, proactive, product-minded, customer-focused, and comfortable operating through ambiguity.
