Responsibilities
- Set the Americas vision, strategy, goals, governance model, and operating rhythms for Solutions Architecture.
- Lead the transformation from traditional pre-sales execution toward consumption-oriented technical go-to-market and measurable customer value.
- Partner with Sales leadership to improve technical win strategy, deal quality, velocity, and executive engagement on complex enterprise opportunities.
- Serve as an executive technical ambassador to CIOs, CTOs, senior technology leaders, and strategic partners.
- Attract, develop, retain, coach, and manage Director- and Manager-level leaders while addressing performance issues.
- Standardize value-based discovery, technical qualification, reference architectures, strategic proofs of concept, and pre- to post-sales handoffs.
- Translate customer and market insights into product roadmap, enablement, and go-to-market decisions.
- Own resource, specialist capacity, and budget allocation across the Americas organization.
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, enterprise software, cloud, data platforms, or related businesses.
- 5+ years leading large, multi-region or global technical pre-sales organizations, including leaders of leaders.
- Experience managing a comparable organization of 100+ individual contributors with a substantial leadership layer.
- Demonstrated success leading transformation involving strategy, metrics, operating discipline, and accountability.
- Deep experience with consumption-based business models and connecting technical strategy to adoption, usage, expansion, and revenue outcomes.
- Strong platform or middleware experience, ideally involving infrastructure, data, integration, automation, or developer capabilities.
- Experience with value-based discovery, technical qualification, and scalable solution design methodologies.
- Track record winning complex modernization, AI, cloud, data, and platform workloads with technical depth and commercial judgment.
- Proven ability to develop leaders, set high standards, manage performance, and build an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to craft and communicate a clear vision.
- Ability to operate within a global mandate while making sound regional decisions.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the Americas.
