Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded automotive software using embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
- Implement automotive communication protocols and integrate software modules with microcontroller architectures.
- Define software architectures, clarify customer AUTOSAR requirements, and integrate development activities into automotive product processes.
- Lead embedded software testing and debugging using tools such as Vector CANalyzer and CANoe.
- Manage software requirements in DOORS and maintain traceability to project and customer requirements.
- Document software designs, test plans, and validation reports.
- Use Git, JIRA, and Gerrit for version control, repository management, and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR, ASPICE, and established automotive development processes.
- Conduct code reviews, static analysis, and quality assurance activities for embedded software.
Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in any specialization.
- 8–15 years of experience in embedded or AUTOSAR software development.
- Proficiency in C and experience with S32, Aurix, or Renesas microcontrollers.
- Deep expertise in more than two AUTOSAR BSW or MCAL modules, such as communication, memory, diagnostics, cybersecurity, operating system, watchdog, or MCAL modules.
- Experience with CDD, RTE, Vector or Mentor AUTOSAR tools, and AUTOSAR multicore architecture.
- Understanding of 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers and experience with Renesas RH, TRICOR, or PowerPC architectures.
- Experience with CANalyzer, debuggers, and oscilloscopes.
- Working knowledge of ASPICE and Agile methodologies, functional safety, and cybersecurity.
