Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy software features from inception through completion.
- Develop and maintain backend services for data-labeling suites while meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support multiple machine learning training-data formats and enable on-the-fly data conversions.
- Integrate data sinks and machine learning data-visualization solutions for managing datasets.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to establish and maintain API contracts.
- Solve complex engineering problems and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
- Work with software engineers, ML engineers, and data scientists to deliver and maintain globally distributed data software.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of Python development experience, including at least 2 years of asynchronous Python programming.
- Foundational understanding of machine learning and proficiency working with large datasets.
- Understanding of concurrency, distributed computing, blob storage, and event-driven architectures using multiple message queues.
- Knowledge of major relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Ability to work in the office 3 days per week under the hybrid work model.
- Open-source contributions or open-source software analysis experience are preferred.
- Experience with spatial or geometry information, vector databases, PyTorch data loaders, 2D/3D machine learning data formats, deep learning, image processing, point cloud processing, or languages used in machine learning and massively parallel computing is preferred.
