Base Salary
$154k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to recommend best-practice architectures aligned with long-term business outcomes.
- Build technical relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos, technical workshops, and other customer engagements.
- Create and share best practices, reference architectures, white papers, code samples, blog posts, and other technical content.
- Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, and conferences.
- Share customer feedback with AWS teams to inform the product roadmap.
- Develop technical depth in domains relevant to customer outcomes and contribute to interviewing, hiring, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
- Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
