Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement product features across the full stack with a focus on PHP and Laravel backend development.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code for scalable backend systems and user-facing functionality.
- Deliver user-facing improvements, backend optimizations, and scalable system enhancements across multiple codebases.
- Improve and maintain product architecture, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering team members to define requirements and solve technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Research and integrate technologies to improve performance, security, and the development process.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer or Platform Engineer building scalable backend services and infrastructure.
- Experience with PHP and preferably Laravel, Yii, or Symfony.
- Experience with JavaScript and preferably ES6 and Webpack.
- Experience with relational database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
