Base Salary

$110k - $133k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define and architect the future technology landscape and roadmap.
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, build, configure, and deploy application and data management solutions.
  • Oversee customer issues and tickets, monitor system SLAs, perform root-cause analysis, and prevent repeat incidents.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, DBAs, IT Infrastructure, application teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Implement system upgrades while minimizing business disruption and support data security, audits, compliance, governance, and corporate policies.
  • Promote DevOps adoption and evaluate technology standards, tools, products, frameworks, and emerging architectures.
  • Develop plans and time estimates, track progress, communicate status, and escalate risks and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or information technology is required.
  • Preferably 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with application development, web technologies, programming, and middleware.
  • Hands-on experience implementing RESTful web services.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience conducting proofs of concept, developing prototypes, and building reference models.
  • Experience building, configuring, and deploying services on WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat containers.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Angular and React UI frameworks.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud environment for architecting and deploying applications.
  • A master’s degree in information technology and prior consulting experience are preferred.
