
[EDT] Senior System Test Engineer/Test Function Lead

Responsibilities
- Review specifications, requirements, and technical documents to ensure testability, clarity, and completeness.
- Develop detailed test specifications and comprehensive verification and validation plans.
- Verify test infrastructure, environments, tools, test data, and configurations for real-world system validation.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases and scripts.
- Perform ECU simulation and testing, analyze software and system defects, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions with development teams and document issues in defect tracking systems.
- Analyze test results, identify risks, report progress, and maintain test artifacts including cases, reports, logs, scripts, and test data.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by V&V Test Coordinators and Managers.
Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Major in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- General knowledge of the software test lifecycle and test design and specification methods.
- Foundation in AUTOSAR Basic Software components, including communication, diagnostics, and failure management.
- Knowledge of CAN fundamentals and ISO-11898, UDS and ISO-14229, and diagnostic communication over CAN using ISO-15765.
- Good scripting skills in Python and CAPL or C for test automation, report analysis, ECU simulation, and testing.
- Proven experience testing embedded systems in the automotive industry.
- Experience with CANoe is highly recommended; experience with Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio, and CANape is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ADAS functionality, HIL testing, Vector CAN/CAN-FD interfaces, Lauterbach, and automotive Ethernet is advantageous.
- Experience writing Bash or shell scripts for Linux/Unix automation is advantageous.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket and familiarity with Jenkins is advantageous.
- Experience with Jira and familiarity with DOORS and RQM is advantageous.
- Formal software testing certification such as ISTQB Certified Tester is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue-resolution, teamwork, and independent-working skills.
