Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Create and modify SQL queries for applications and project processes.
- Implement defined requirements while clarifying technical or functional questions with the team.
- Investigate errors in existing processes, identify root causes, and apply corrections.
- Review and improve the performance of SQL queries and PL/SQL components.
- Test developed changes, review relevant cases, and support validation with QA.
- Document technical changes to facilitate system maintenance.
Requirements
- Practical mid-level development experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience creating or modifying procedures, functions, packages, and triggers used in real projects.
- Ability to read existing code, understand its behavior, and make changes without affecting other processes.
- Experience debugging errors and reviewing SQL query performance.
- Knowledge of version control and basic testing and documentation practices.
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and collaboration with developers and QA.
- Intermediate English for understanding technical documentation and participating in work conversations.
- Residence in a Latin American country other than Mexico.
- Experience with transactional systems or processes handling substantial data volumes is valued.
- Availability to work full time.
