Base Salary
$132k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, ship, test, deploy, and iterate on software products, tools, and services.
- Build and scale backend routing systems, microservices, routing algorithms, road-network graph systems, monitoring infrastructure, and simulation tools.
- Develop onboard C++ software that generates routes, receives live map updates, and interfaces with motion planning.
- Build full-stack React and TypeScript applications, backend services, APIs, fleet monitoring tools, vehicle health tracking, maintenance workflows, and operational decision-making tools.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Operations, and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and deliver user experiences.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, shared platform patterns, and end-to-end feature ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, completed or in progress; new graduate and early-career candidates are welcome.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and either web fundamentals or server-side programming with Go, Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects building React and TypeScript applications or real-time server-side systems.
- Understanding of building and consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and exposure to GCP or AWS.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with WebSockets, Pub/Sub, streaming pipelines, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Thrift, Kubernetes, routing algorithms, map or graph data, autonomous vehicles, robotics, logistics, automotive systems, partner API integrations, design systems, shared component libraries, or developer tooling.
