Responsibilities

Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to ensure technical sustainability.
Act as a force-multiplier by defining and advocating for technical solutions.
Ensure team operations and availability with proper monitoring and policies.
Foster a culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards.
Develop talent on the team by providing feedback and guidance.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Proficient in backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Experience in developing web apps with frameworks like React, React Native, or Vue.
Ability to deliver major features and write high-quality, understandable code.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and understanding large system architectures.
Demonstrated ability to gather and iterate on feedback from peers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
