Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in system analysis, design, build, testing, application architecture, and end-to-end technical solutioning.
- Develop and review application, interface, and architecture technical design specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, developers, testers, infrastructure teams, cyber teams, and vendors to deliver technical requirements.
- Prepare and lead system, integration, user acceptance, performance, and failover testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical defects, problem tickets, and production incidents.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and support transition from development to production.
- Lead system maintenance activities covering performance, resource consumption, cyber hygiene, security patches, hardware and software end-of-life, and upgrades.
- Investigate incidents at the application level, identify root causes, implement workarounds and fixes, and restore services.
- Support quality reviews and ensure deliverables comply with MUFG IT standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of technical experience specializing in payment-system implementations for AVP, or at least 10 years for VP, including rollout, country deployment or migration, and technical refresh projects.
- Experience with Asia Pacific transaction-banking domestic payment clearing and settlement networks, including low-value payments, direct debit, real-time payments, RTGS, and partner banks.
- Experience implementing and deploying vendor payment products such as TCS BaNCS, Finastra GPP, or FIS OPF.
- Hands-on experience with system analysis, design, build, and testing methodologies and frameworks in transaction banking.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Java/J2EE, IBM WAS/Liberty, Oracle WebLogic, IBM MQ, Oracle Database, and IBM DB2.
- Technical skills in Unix and Python scripting, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, microservices, SFTP, MQ, SOAP, SQL, SAML, OIDC, Jenkins, GitLab, SAST, and DAST.
- Experience with high-availability active-active architecture and cross-data-center resiliency design and operations.
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, project delivery, incident management, and capacity management experience.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and exposure to Agile methodology.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams and communicate with stakeholders, team members, and product vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
