Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand problems and inform engineering decisions.
- Ship end-to-end full-stack features from discovery through production.
- Use Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development.
- Own zero-to-one initiatives including dunning workflows and customer portal re-engineering.
- Prioritize and curate the product roadmap, including deciding what to build, skip, or discontinue.
- Solve energy retail problems involving billing, procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.
- Shape engineering culture, tooling, and processes, and support recruiting efforts.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success shipping real, end-to-end full-stack products from discovery through production.
- Strong full-stack engineering capabilities and the ability to own systems end to end.
- Evidence of exceptional technical ability through high-bar organizations, shipped projects, competitions, research, founding work, or similar achievements.
- Fluency using AI-native development tools as force multipliers.
- High ownership, strong judgment, and comfort working in ambiguity and early-stage environments.
- Experience in or strong interest in energy retail, including billing, procurement, customer retention, or cost optimization.
- Native or near-native German fluency at C1 level or above.
Benefits
- Annual salary of €80,000 to €120,000.
- Fully on-site in Berlin, Germany, five days per week; remote work is not available.
