Responsibilities
- Build tools, scripts, and integrations that automate operational and business processes and connect databases, APIs, and internal or external systems.
- Build and support cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, packaging, deployment, and configuration.
- Manage releases and deployments across Development, UAT/Test, and Production environments.
- Maintain PTMS environments and infrastructure, including configuration, service accounts, and secrets, and support upgrades, migrations, and environment changes.
- Monitor applications, jobs, and integrations through logging and alerting to identify failures and service degradation.
- Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, implement permanent fixes, and participate in incident management and post-incident reviews.
- Apply secure development and DevOps practices, including secure secrets management, least-privilege access, vulnerability remediation, and auditability of changes.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, security, QA, and business teams while maintaining technical and operational documentation.
- Identify opportunities to replace manual work with automation.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, automated builds, and automated deployments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab pipelines, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Selenium or browser automation, and SQL Server fundamentals.
- Understanding of application logging, monitoring, alerting, authentication, authorization, certificates, service accounts, and secrets management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise application integrations, operational workflow automation, and data formats such as JSON and XML.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to take ownership of applications from development through production and investigate complex production issues systematically.
