Responsibilities
- Architect and build Coupang’s Messaging and Caching Platform.
- Develop durable software capable of processing terabytes to petabytes of data each day.
- Improve platform stability, performance, and operational reliability while maintaining 99.99%–99.999% availability.
- Design, monitor, and manage scalable, reliable, and highly available platform services.
- Collaborate with internal customer teams and external customers to deliver platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software infrastructure.
- Strong AWS cloud experience across software development and operations.
- Expertise in distributed systems and computing frameworks such as Kafka and Spark.
- Ability to triage and troubleshoot complex technical problems quickly.
- Strong collaboration, ownership, learning, and problem-solving abilities.
