Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end engineering outcomes and technical direction across complex customer-facing digital lending platforms.
- Remain hands-on across architecture, design, coding, troubleshooting, and production optimisation.
- Build scalable full-stack experiences using .NET Core, C#, React, Next.js, and API-driven ecosystems.
- Design and operate cloud-native, resilient, observable platforms on AWS using distributed, event-driven, and domain-driven architecture patterns.
- Modernise platforms, reduce technical debt, simplify customer journeys, and improve delivery velocity and business outcomes.
- Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
- Influence technical strategy across multiple teams while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with Product, Design, Business, and technology stakeholders.
- Apply AI-powered software engineering tools and practices to improve developer productivity and software quality.
Requirements
- Proven Principal Engineer or technical leadership experience owning engineering outcomes across complex, customer-facing digital platforms at scale.
- Deep hands-on expertise with modern .NET Core and C# development.
- Strong full-stack capability with React, Next.js, and API-driven ecosystems.
- Experience designing cloud-native AWS solutions using microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
- Experience with resilient and observable platforms, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
- A track record of platform modernisation, technical debt reduction, customer journey simplification, and improved delivery outcomes.
- Ability to influence technical strategy, mentor senior engineers, and partner effectively with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders.
- Experience with several of the listed frontend, backend, cloud, architecture, containerisation, security, testing, quality, observability, AI tooling, and database technologies.
